Course Review: by Matthieu Petrigh A very interesting and well made introduction to the broad topic of violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism as it applies to the Internet. Key concepts of privacy, human rights, Internet of Things (IoT) are discussed and high level control mechanisms outlined. Impacts on the broader society are succintly presented, altogether with interesting case studies, guidances and policies. The course is authoritative and gives good substance for further research. I particularly liked the logical structure of the course and the writing style of its author(s), which is both concise and deep. The course could have contained more references and materials to further engage with the student and direct their study. Regular assessments and quizzes have been added to the course's content, which is a good thing, in my view. The learning platform used to deliver the course is stable and performing, and user interface is well made. I recommend this free course to those having interest in high level security conceptualisation and terrorism. Well done to OSCE.
