Overview of Nuclear Security Threats and Risks

This e-learning module is designed to provide a basic introduction to nuclear security threats and risks through exploring the following: nuclear security events; threat / adversaries ; potential targets and consequences; nuclear security risk; understanding risk assessment and threat mitigation. The audience for this course is intended to include all personnel and organizations with nuclear security responsibilities and functions. This includes, but is not limited to: national security authorities, regulatory bodies, national nuclear security coordinators, law enforcement, customs, intelligence and security agencies, operators, technical support organizations, educational and training organizations, and nuclear security support centres.
