Control Room Operator

Control Room Operator allows an unarmed guard to monitor a location via CCTV. Working closely with Security & Emergency Response units, a guard will be involved with the reporting and recording of vital information. A prerequisite of this course requires you to hold a current CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations completed within the last 12 months.

  17. Conduct security screening using x-ray equipment

  18. Conduct security screening using walk-through metal detection equipment

  19. Conduct security screening using explosive trace detection equipment

  20. Conduct security screening using hand-held metal detectors
