Submissions

If you want to add a security course, a course review, a book review or an article to the collection then great, and thanks! To ensure your submission is accepted please consider the following guidelines:

Guidelines to add a course to the collection

Submissions need to contain the following:

  • A course syllabus
  • A source article, blog post or canonical page listing the course in more detail. A source article would contain something about the course itself and how it is delivered. Consider a few of the following questions:

    • Is the course about security?
    • Can the course be taken online, or at least partially?
    • Is the course currently available and its content up-to-date?

You don’t need to cover all these things in detail. Overall we want to know where we can find the course.

You can submit your own course or one from other individuals, companies or universities if you think that it would be useful to the community.

Submit a course

Please send me an email at hello@security-courses.online including:

  • Link to the course (source URL);
  • The course syllabus;
  • Author/creator.

Guidelines to add a course review

Submissions need to contain the following:

  • Your point of view on the course itself;
  • A critical appraisal of the course. A critical review would contain something about the course itself and what value it has. Consider a few of the following questions:

    • Did I enjoy the course?
    • How has been my learning experience?
    • What are the pros and cons of the course?
    • Is the content of the course relevant and accurate?
    • Would I recommend the course to others? And if so, for which reasons?
    • Should the course be improved and if so, how?

You don’t need to cover all these things in detail. Overall we want to know if you have enjoyed the course.

You can submit a course review if you think that it would be useful to the community. An example of course review can be found here.

Guidelines to add a book review

Submissions need to contain the following:
